Pole Exercise Ideas
Peck, peck, peck plant – three pole touches before turning
Tiny person turns – hold poles midway down the shaft
Fake pole plants – fake pole plant with hand action
Double Pole Plant
Listening Pole Plant Turns:  plant poles when skis are quiet, then plant poles at edge set “noise” shorter turns
Ski with poles in front like handle bars on bikes, try behind the neck, small of back behind the knee
X Man turns:  Hold the poles in an X shape in the direction you want to go
2 person 360 – join 2 poles using straps to make a long pole and have them ski down while making turns around each other
Ski Side by Side with a bamboo pole horizontally or in a tandem with two bamboo poles
